Matthew “Matt” Stifler, a fictional character in the American Pie film series, is portrayed by actor Seann William Scott. First introduced in the 1999 film American Pie as a high school student, Stifler serves as the main antagonist and is known for his crude, vulgar behavior and perverted antics. He is often referred to as “Stifmeister” by his friends and is a fan of the band Metallica.
Stifler attends East Great Falls High School, where he is a member of the school’s swim team and plays the tuba in the band. After high school, he enrolls at the University of Michigan to study business but later drops out and moves back to East Great Falls. There, he works as a bartender at a local bar. Stifler is not known for any notable achievements, but he is known for his ability to get into trouble, often instigating pranks and other mischievous activities.
In his personal life, Stifler is the son of Steve Stifler, a wealthy businessman, and Jeanine Stifler, a stay-at-home mom. He has two older sisters, Shannon and Erica. Stifler is known for his promiscuous behavior and has had numerous sexual partners. He remains a virgin until the third film in the series, American Pie 3: The Wedding. In American Pie 2, Stifler is arrested for indecent exposure.
Over the years, Matt Stifler has continued to appear in American Pie spin-off films and television series. He has also appeared in other films and television shows, such as the 2012 film “The Campaign” and the 2015 television series “The Mindy Project”.
