In the 1970s and 1980s, he found success as a commercial actor and appeared in various films such as “The Velvet Vampire”, “The Wild Angels”, and “The Centerfold Girls”. Later in his career, Blodgett transitioned into writing, penning screenplays for movies like “Rent-A-Cop”, “Turner & Hooch”, and “Run”. He was married four times and had three daughters. Blodgett passed away in 2007 at the age of 68.
