He is best recognized for his 1990s hit single “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm” with his band Crash Test Dummies. Hunt has produced several albums, such as “God Shuffled His Feet” and “A Worm’s Life,” and continues to influence musicians today. Besides his music career, he made a guest appearance on the children’s show “Sesame Street” in 1995, performing a modified version of “The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead” alongside the character Prairie Dawn.
