Miguel Romulo, a distinguished Filipino journalist, diplomat, and politician, is renowned for his roles as the Philippine Ambassador to the United Nations and as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs. He was also a celebrated author, writing works such as “I Walked with Heroes” and “Mother America and Her Sons”. Romulo worked as a war correspondent during World War II and received the Pulitzer Prize for Journalism in 1942. He participated in the Philippine Constitutional Convention and held the position of President at the University of the Philippines. Romulo was a close associate of General Douglas MacArthur, serving as his press officer during the war.
