Mike Lupica is a renowned American author, screenwriter, and sports journalist, well-known for his sports-themed novels such as “Travel Team” and “Heat.” He has also authored numerous adult fiction and non-fiction books and has been a regular panelist on ESPN’s “The Sports Reporters” since 1988. Lupica’s other accomplishments include winning the 2010 Damon Runyon Award and being recognized as one of the most influential people in New York City sports media.
Besides his writing career, Lupica has also found success in television and radio. He has been a long-standing pundit on ESPN’s “The Sports Reporters” and hosted “The Mike Lupica Show” on ESPN2. Additionally, he had a radio show on WFAN in New York City during the mid-1990s.
