Montell Jordan, an American singer, songwriter, and record producer, rose to fame with his 1995 hit single “This Is How We Do It.” As the primary male solo artist on Def Jam’s Def Soul imprint until 2003, Jordan released several albums and wrote and produced songs for other artists. Some of his other well-known works include “Get It On Tonite,” “Somethin’ 4 Da Honeyz,” “Let’s Ride,” “You Must Have Been,” and “Once Upon a Time.” Jordan also made a surprising appearance on The Masked Singer as the Panther, leaving the panelists guessing. Married to Kristin Hudson since 1994, Jordan continues to make an impact in the music industry.
