Morris Day, an American musician, composer, and actor, rose to fame as the lead singer of The Time, a band closely connected to Prince. Both Day and Prince attended the same high school in Minneapolis and were bandmates in Grand Central, managed by Day’s mother. Day’s most renowned work is his song “Jungle Love – Live,” which has garnered over 1 million streams on Spotify. He has also appeared alongside Prince in the film and album for Purple Rain and starred in Graffiti Bridge.
