Natasha Shneider was a Russian-American musician, singer, and actress who gained fame as the keyboardist and vocalist for the 1990s hard rock band Eleven, which she co-founded with her husband Alain Johannes. She was also known for her work as a music producer and her contributions to film soundtracks, such as “The Faculty” and “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo”. Additionally, she collaborated with artists like Queens of the Stone Age and Chris Cornell.
Besides her musical career, Shneider had a successful acting career, appearing in films like “2012” and “2010: The Year We Make Contact”, as well as TV shows like “Miami Vice” and “Hill Street Blues”. A classically trained pianist, she received formal music education at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory in Russia.
Sadly, Natasha Shneider passed away on July 2, 2008, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
