Nathaniel Rateliff, an American singer-songwriter and musician, is recognized for his emotionally charged, intimate songs and his powerful tenor voice, which can effortlessly transition between folk and R&B. He rose to fame in 2015 with his band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and their hit single “S.O.B.” Rateliff’s other notable accomplishments include solo albums “In Memory Of Loss” and “Falling Faster Than You Can Run,” a collaboration with Joseph Pope III in the duo Nathaniel Rateliff & Joseph, a supporting role in the film “A Star is Born,” and a performance at the Grammy Awards. He is also the founder of the charity organization, The Marigold Project. Before dedicating himself to music, Rateliff worked as a carpenter, often drawing parallels between woodworking and songwriting.
