Osmel Sousa, born on September 26, 1946, in Cienfuegos, Cuba, is a Cuban-Venezuelan entrepreneur renowned for his work in the beauty pageant industry. In 1996, he became the franchise manager for Mister World, achieving his first victory in 1998 when Venezuela won its first Mister World title. Throughout his career, Sousa has been instrumental in the success of numerous Miss Venezuelas who went on to claim international pageant titles. Known as the “Beauty Czar,” he has produced more beauty queens than anyone else globally. In recent years, Sousa has also appeared in reality shows such as “La Casa de los Famosos.”
