He is most famous for his 10-year tenure as the quarterback of the Cleveland Browns, during which the team won 105 games and secured seven titles. Graham participated in 10 championship games throughout his career. Although he did not receive any college football scholarships, he played basketball at Northwestern University before joining the Browns. In the 1950 NFL Championship Game, Graham’s four touchdown passes led the Browns to a 30-28 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. In 2010, NFL Films ranked him as the 16th best player in NFL history on their “The Top 100: NFL’s Greatest Players” list. Otto Graham was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a Player in 1965. Over his 126-game career, he accumulated 23,584 passing yards.
