Paul Gray, an American musician, was best known as a founding member and bassist of the Grammy-nominated heavy metal band Slipknot. He also played a role in forming the bands Jailhouse and Body Pit. As a songwriter and lyricist for Slipknot, Gray co-wrote popular songs such as “Wait and Bleed,” “Duality,” and “Psychosocial,” contributing to the band’s success in the metal genre. Unfortunately, Gray passed away in 2010 at the age of 38.
