Peter McEnery, an English actor, gained prominence in the 1960s for his contributions to British cinema and television. He became one of the UK’s most promising young actors, with notable roles in “The Moon-Spinners” (1964), “Entertaining Mr Sloane” (1970), and “The Picture of Dorian Gray” (1973). Additionally, he appeared in “The Avengers”, “The Prisoner”, and the TV movie “Jesus of Nazareth”. McEnery has been married to Julia St John since 1997, and was previously married to Julie Peasgood. An interesting tidbit about him is that he shared Hayley Mills’ first on-screen grown-up kiss in the film The Moon-Spinners.
