Ray Reardon, a Welsh former professional snooker player, is considered one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. He gained widespread recognition for his exceptional skills and expertise, winning the World Championship six times. Reardon’s nickname “Dracula” emerged during a resurgence of his career in the late 1970s. Besides his snooker career, Reardon was also a talented billiards player, once holding the Welsh Amateur Billiards Championship title. He wrote a book called ‘Ray Reardon’s The Life of Snooker’, appeared in the TV series ‘Minder’, and was awarded an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
