Rhys Darby, a New Zealand actor and comedian, is renowned for his dynamic physical comedy, which often features storytelling with mime and sound effects, such as machinery and animals. He gained prominence for his role as Murray Hewitt, the band manager in HBO’s Flight of the Conchords. Some of his notable works include the film Yes Man (2008), The Boat That Rocked (2009), and the TV series Our Flag Means Death. In 2012, Darby received the Fred (Dagg) award at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
