Roberto Tapia, an American singer with Mexican roots, was born in San Diego, California, and raised in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. He gained fame in the Regional Mexican genre, and his album El Muchacho reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart in August 2012. This album also earned him a Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Music Album. Among his popular songs is “Las Edades,” which has garnered 2.1K page views.
