Sabu is an American independent professional wrestler known for his work in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He made three appearances for the World Wrestling Federation in 1993.

Sabu Dastagir, commonly known as Sabu, was an Indian actor who rose to international prominence in the 1940s for his performances in British and American films. Renowned for his athletic abilities, exotic appearance, and captivating on-screen presence, Sabu’s most celebrated works include “The Thief of Bagdad” and “Jungle Book.” Other significant films in his career were “Elephant Boy,” “Black Narcissus,” “Ramayana,” and “Amedee.” Sabu received the Silver Condor Award for Best Actor for his role in “Green Hell.”
Apart from his acting career, Sabu served in the British Army during World War II, utilizing his expertise with elephants to assist in moving supplies. He continued to act in films until his untimely death at 39. An intriguing fact about Sabu is that he made three appearances for the World Wrestling Federation in 1993.
