Sally James, a British television presenter and actress, gained fame for co-hosting the children’s program Tiswas during the late 1970s and early 1980s. She also made appearances in well-known British TV shows such as The Benny Hill Show, Carry On Laughing, and The Mersey Pirate. Additionally, James had a role in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me and performed on stage in productions like “Aladdin” and “Babes in the Wood.” In 1988, she was initially cast as Davina Batibat in the horror film “Child’s Play,” but had to withdraw due to scheduling conflicts, leading to actress Edan Gross taking on the role. Notably, James began her presenting career in 1973, interviewing prominent pop stars such as David Essex and The Bay City Rollers.
