Sandra Elaine Allen, known as Sandy Allen (June 18, 1955 รขยย August 13, 2008), was an American woman who held the Guinness World Records title for being the tallest woman in the world at 7 feet 7 inches (231 cm) tall. She gained international fame due to her extraordinary height and went on to write a book called “Cast a Giant Shadow.” Allen also appeared on television shows such as “The Guinness Book of World Records” and “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!” Despite facing physical challenges due to gigantism, she achieved considerable success in her career and personal life.
