Seth Robinson, a distinguished American video game designer and developer, gained recognition for creating “Legend of the Red Dragon,” a widely popular dial-up bulletin board system game during the early internet period. He also developed “Dink Smallwood,” an action-adventure game with a comedic twist that garnered critical praise. Alongside this, Robinson co-established “RTsoft,” a software development firm responsible for producing various games such as “Granny’s Garden” and “Hamsterball.” In 2016, he was posthumously honored with an induction into the International Video Game Hall of Fame. Additionally, Robinson was known for his musical abilities, often integrating original soundtracks into his games. A notable aspect of his career is that he created the game Legend of the Red Dragon in 1989, at just 14 years old, to draw new users to his Amiga-based BBS.
