Stanley Tucci is an Italian American actor best recognized in the comedy-drama movie ’Big Night’ (1996) which he co-directed with Campbell Scott. He also gave creditable performance as Paul, Julia Child’s husband, in ’Julie and Julia’ (2009) and Dr. Abraham Erskine in ’Captain America: The First Avenger’ (2011).
He was named after his father, Stanley Tucci, who was an art teacher in New York.
He reconciled with his first wife Kate two years after their separation when they found out about her breast cancer. They remained together until she died in 2009.
