Scottish musician and singer-songwriter Steve Mason is recognized for his distinctive blend of post-rock, electronic, and folk music. He rose to fame as the lead vocalist for The Beta Band and Black Affair and has released solo albums such as “Boys Outside” and “Meet the Humans.” Additionally, Mason has collaborated with various artists and contributed to numerous film soundtracks. Apart from his music career, he is a former professional ice hockey player who played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL. During his rookie season, Mason won the Calder Memorial Trophy and was named to the All-Rookie Team in 2009.
