Theodore Edmond Bridgewater Jr., an American football quarterback, currently represents the Detroit Lions in the NFL. Hailing from Miami, Florida, he completed his education at Miami Northwestern High School. Throughout his career, Bridgewater has played for various teams, including the Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, and Denver Broncos. Some of his notable accomplishments are being named Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, NFC Offensive Player of the Week, and a Pro Bowl alternate. At the University of Louisville, he had a successful collegiate career, earning the title of Big East Rookie of the Year and winning the 2013 Sugar Bowl. However, in recent years, Bridgewater has encountered injuries and undergone concussion protocol.
