Terry Becker was a renowned American actor and director who gained fame for his extensive contributions to both the television and film industries. He is best known for portraying Chief Francis Ethelbert Sharkey in the TV series “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea” (1964-1968). Becker’s other notable works include “The Burning Hills” (1956), “The Lone Ranger and the Lost City of Gold” (1958), and “The Detective” (1968). Additionally, he made appearances in shows such as “Buck Rogers” (1950), “Perry Mason” (1959-1965), and “The Streets of San Francisco” (1972-1977). Before embarking on his acting career, Becker served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He passed away on December 30, 2014, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
