As a co-founder of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, he wrote books such as “Flim-Flam!” and “An Encyclopedia of Claims, Frauds, and Hoaxes of the Occult and Supernatural.” Randi made appearances on TV shows like “Happy Days” and “Penn & Teller: Bullshit!” and received numerous accolades, including a MacArthur Fellowship in 1986. In addition to his skepticism, Randi was a skilled escape artist and illusion designer, creating stage props for his performances. He passed away at 92 years old.
