Thomas R. Perrotta, an American novelist and screenwriter, is renowned for his novels “Election” and “Little Children.” Both of these works were transformed into critically acclaimed films that received Academy Award nominations. In addition to co-writing the screenplay for “Little Children,” which earned him a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, Perrotta’s other notable works include “The Leftovers,” adapted into a Peabody Award-winning HBO series, and “Mrs. Fletcher.” As a leading voice in American fiction, he has authored a total of nine fiction works.
