Thomas Frederick Cooper, born on 19 March 1921 and passed away on 15 April 1984, was a renowned Welsh comedian and magician. He gained popularity in the 1970s and quickly became one of the UK’s most cherished entertainers. As a member of The Magic Circle, Cooper skillfully combined magic with comedy in his performances. Some of his most notable works include the TV series “Cooperama” and the recorded stage shows “Just Like That” and “The Very Best Of Tommy Cooper”. Additionally, he participated in various film and television projects, such as “It’s Magic”, “The Plank”, and “The Tommy Cooper Hour”. Unfortunately, in 1984, Cooper suffered a fatal heart attack on stage during a live television broadcast of “Live From Her Majesty’s”. Known for his tall and clumsy demeanor, as well as his iconic red fez hat, Tommy Cooper was a truly unique and beloved figure in the world of comedy and magic.
