Tony Shalhoub is an American actor known for his versatility and comedic timing. Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he began his career in theater before gaining recognition for his role as Antonio Scarpacci in the NBC sitcom “Wings” (1990-1997).
Shalhoub achieved widespread fame for his portrayal of the obsessive-compulsive detective Adrian Monk in the USA Network series “Monk” (2002-2009). His exceptional performance earned him three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
