Ty Montgomery II, an American football player known for his versatility as both a wide receiver and running back, played college football at Stanford University. He was drafted in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers and has since played for several teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, and most recently, the New England Patriots. Some of Montgomery’s notable achievements include being named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week in 2016, rushing a career-high 162 yards in a single game against the Chicago Bears in 2016, and being part of the Patriots team that won the AFC East division in 2019. While majoring in Sociology at Stanford, Montgomery maintained a 3.2 GPA and was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic first team in 2012. Interestingly, he was initially drafted as a wide receiver by the Packers but later switched positions to become a running back.
