Wallace Ford, an English-born American actor, was renowned for his roles in early 20th-century classic films. With a career spanning three decades, he appeared in over 200 films, such as “Freaks” (1932), “The Informer” (1935), and “They Died with Their Boots On” (1941). Ford also performed in several Broadway productions. During World War II, he served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy, participating in crucial campaigns in Europe and the Pacific. He continued to act in films and television shows until his passing in 1966. Born Samuel Jones in England, Ford spent time in an orphanage after being separated from his parents.
