Walter O’Brien, an Irish entrepreneur, is the founder of Scorpion Computer Services and gained notoriety for allegedly hacking NASA’s computer systems at just 13 years old. He is widely recognized as the inspiration for the CBS TV series, Scorpion. O’Brien has also been involved in various other ventures, such as developing the first online mentoring program and working as an executive producer on the film “The Wind.” In 2017, he received the unite4:humanity Humanitarian Lifetime Achievement Award for his positive influence on Los Angeles’ youth. Additionally, O’Brien is a licensed pilot with experience flying over 10 different types of aircraft. His fascination with computers began in primary school when he took a computer course and bought an Amstrad personal computer at the age of nine.
