Yaya Tourè, the renowned retired Ivorian footballer, is celebrated for his impressive career at Manchester City. Over his 8-year tenure, he participated in 230 matches, scored 62 goals, and contributed to the team’s victories in the Premier League, FA Cup, and Community Shield. In addition to his time at Manchester City, Tourè also played for Barcelona and the Ivory Coast national team as a midfielder, aiding in their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations win. Currently, he serves as an assistant coach at Belgian club Standard Liège. Tourè has received seven nominations for the BBC African Footballer of the Year award and won the title in 2013.
